With lemon, orange, and pineapple guava trees in their ripened conditions, I decided to create a simple summer fruit bowl and use it as a centerpiece on the backyard coffee table. When my darling bride-to-be friend asked if I could help her antique her large, new silver mirror for her wedding, I was thrilled to take on the challenge! Whenever I find something so inspiring, it makes me think about how to incorporate the theme into my home. Planting lemon trees in old terra cotta pots, giving pops of yellow to my decor (via pillows, throws, flowers), or even attempting my own oil painting of a lemon branch are a few ideas this masterpiece creates. Not only does this photograph serve as the perfect segue from my last post on Sunburst Mirrors, but its fresh, bright, and natural look is exactly what I needed to be inspired.
