Easter Buffet Table Decor
Seeing as how I am obsessed with nests (obviously) and all things naturally beautiful, there really couldn't be a more perfect holiday for me than Easter. For this year's celebration, I decorated my buffet table with simple decor in variations of nests and eggs. The only other thing this table needs is a large display of delicious deviled eggs!
Dedicated to Moira Sharkey.
You were an Irish Rose, a light in our lives,
and we will love and miss you forever.
As a child, one of my favorite Easter tales was "The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes". It always evoked images of golden eggs, and I knew I had to make my own for the Easter table.
Hollowed out and spray painted with a matte gold spray paint, these golden eggs rest sweetly in a basket of twigs and ferns from World Market.
To display individual eggs, I perched them atop these silver candlesticks and a mercury glass vase.
A collection of rectangle nest plates hang on the wall, framing the mirror. Although these plates are here to stay all year round, they surely do make a perfect statement for Easter!
On the other side of the buffet table are three cardboard Easter eggs, mercury glass candles, and a nest propped up in a silver compote.
These images are so old-fashioned and charming. The eggs are presented in Irish belleek china and milk glass.
Two paper birds with feathers watch over their nest filled with real quail eggs.
A bouquet of azalea flowers give the table a pop of pink while balancing out the manzanita tree on the opposite side.
Thank you for visiting Nora's Nest! Hope you enjoyed :)
XOXO,
