A Chandelier for the Master Bedroom
It was love at first sight when I found this gorgeous gilt gold chandelier dripping with crystals, and I knew it had to be mine. A relic of a french chateau, it now adorns our master bedroom, its curled structure giving it a sweet whimsical quality.
With our bedroom's white palette and simple design, a pop of "room jewelry" was just what the doctor ordered.
Whenever I cannot find the perfect chandelier or sconce in an antique store or flea market, I usually head to Ebay to find beautiful lighting. That is where I purchased this piece, and I'm so happy I did.
Swags and swags of crystals give the chandelier elegance and formality...
...while icicle crystals cut through the sweetness of the piece, giving it a bit of edge.
As if it didn't glitter enough, macaroni beading (made of tiny cylindrical beads) delicately lines the structure. Macaroni beading is often found in antique, old world lighting, and it is one of the main features that drew me to this chandelier.
