Before and After: Living Room Transformation

Before and After: Living Room in the Nest; Gold tray, quail egg nest, roses; Nora's Nest

As promised from my post, Living Room in the Nest, here are some before and after shots of our living room transformation. The before photos are what we saw when we walked into the house for the first time!

Before and After: Living Room in the Nest; linen sofa and chairs, iron coffee table and fireplace screen, gold chandelier and mirror; Nora's Nest

Changes made: Painted the yellow walls a soft white. Changed furniture placement. Lifted eye up to the ceilings using white linen curtains and mirror on mantle.

Before and After: Living Room in the Nest; linen curtains, soft white walls, frame and mirror formation; Nora's Nest

Changes made: Installed chandelier. Decorated walls with mirror and frames of drawings, paintings, and photographs. Two dining chairs behind the sofa provide for extra seating if need be.

Before and After: Living Room in the Nest; installed larger windows, placement of furniture; hidden TV flat screen; Nora's Nest

Changes made: Installed larger windows. Replaced sconces. Masked the fireplace with antique iron fireplace screen. Decorated mantle using tall branches.
