A Spooky-Glam Halloween
Dress up your home’s focal point in a glamorous fashion this Halloween. On this mantle, I’ve kept the color palette fairly simple: to black and white. A collection of white pumpkins, black bats, a black urn, white coral, and a black handmade spiderweb makes this mantle perfectly Spooky-Glam. Just Beware…You won’t want to turn your back!
Above: The organic coral, black seafans, and dark manzanita branches give a natural, enchanted forest quality to the Halloween mantle.
I made this spiderweb using black branches and blackened straw. Backed by an Italian gilt mirror, the web’s reflection doubles its haunting effect.
My sister and I made these bats when we were young. I love how a fun craft project from years ago can still be used today!
Small white pumpkins and gourds are scattered throughout the scene.
With bats flying by string on the tree and the branches encroaching in on the mirror, this Halloween mantle has movement and looks as if it’s alive.
A dark etched urn from an antique store.
To complete the look, mercury-glass candles light up the scene with a ghostly glow.
